Note: this is part of my series in exploration, reflections and translations of the Korean Secret of the Kingdom Oracle deck.

Reflection:

I pulled this card, the morning of an important job interview and it felt very fortuitous. The feeling that I got when I pulled this card and read its description was: to be diligent in my preparation, and that I would be okay. And that is precisely what I did.

I was meticulous in my preparation for this interview and as a result, I found that I was very prepared for the precise interview that I walked into. Somehow, almost everything that I reviewed and prepped, was addressed in this conversation. It was a thorough interview and it went really well. However, without the focused preparation, I don’t think I would have passed the mark.

This card represents accounting, meticulous box ticking and cross-checking. Abundance. Luxury (but the groundwork for luxury). There is an element of seasonality and there is also an element of time constraints.

There are elements of creativity and art or high fashion, of delicacy, of refinement and of the experience these elements provide.

Translation:

Soon you will be able to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor — but for now, there is work to do. There are tasks to complete, boxes to check. Success will come from special care and attention to the task at hand. Be diligent in your preparation, planning or your review. Make sure everything is accounted for.

This card represents an accumulation of wealth or material abundance, which in this case, is not a frivolous happenstance.

Timing is also important in this card — there is no indication of season or weather (other than, it does not look like winter) — but there is an indication that food will go bad (or spoil) if special attention is not paid, and if it doesn’t arrive within its transportation window.

And, someone else may be working hard for you.
