perhaps openness isn’t

there are too many universes floating inside
perhaps we can’t untangle them all.
perhaps that isn’t the point, perhaps
the only clear channel we can be
is to whatever is alive within us
right now.

perhaps openness isn’t a simplistic point
in time or outpouring
of self, perhaps openness isn’t
a sort of cleanliness or ease, perhaps openness is

an allowing.
an acknowledgement of planets moving,
colliding within

without shame.
