I am moving through October
in an entirely new relationship with time.

lifetimes have been lived
in a few shorts weeks, and I am
in awe

at how quickly the wind changes direction
at how beautiful it is when love shakes us awake
gently reminding us

who we are & what
we are made of

what really matters, & what
we are willing to do

to love
to feel
to be

alive.
