White Porcelain Moon Jar 3
Note: this is part of my series in exploration, reflections and translations of the Korean Secret of the Kingdom Oracle deck.
Reflections:
Trust the process. Also, the play on time is uncanny (yesterday, having pulled the sundial, and the days before having pulled Moon Jar #1, the waterclock, and Moon Jar #2). I need to reflect on time itself, and maybe come back with another post.
In the moon jar cards, I see a progression of dedication. Overwhelmingly, I hear “trust the process”. There is an element of devotion and total presence in each card. But in this card in particular, there is an element of fine tuning and waiting. These elements are part of every process, but they require greater skill to remain present. It’s easy to get bored in the wait. It’s easy to get sloppy in the refinement. Yet, the craftsman remains passionate. Time is still passing, unnoticed. The craftsman is still in flow (and he is making solid progress).
Translation:
Things may not feel like they are moving fast enough. You may even feel at a standstill. You may be wondering what you can do to push things along, or why you are not further ahead.
There is power in these moments. Find the magic in the mundane again, and above all: trust the process.
Fine tune the elements of your work or the environment supporting you. We often give up just before the finish line becomes visible. Don’t lose your focus. Yet, don’t push. This is not a time to sprint, but a time to allow the momentum to carry you. The results you seek are coming. How can you remain devoted and dedicated to your craft? How can you remain steady in yourself?
Before you know it, it will all come together. It is not necessarily your movement that will get you there, but time and process. This card is about patience, endurance, and presence. How can you stay the course, even if the course feels still?
Season/Timing revealed in the card: Summer
